what consist of changing manifold choke to electric?

I'm replacing my carb on my merc 228. do I have to do anything to change to electric choke ? and what are the wires that run to a switch on my throttle control? I'm replacing my shifter and wandering if I need to replace those wires and switch on the control

Get a carb with an electric choke. Wire it in.

probably for the trim switch

buy a controller with a trim switch built into it. it will be wired for a switch so all you have to do is route and connect the wires

it's not a trim switch, it's two yellow wires on some kind of kill switch or something. I may try to get a pic up later of what I'm talking about.

neutral saftey switch

the controller has to be in neutral for the engine to turn over
