on the news,, said back in 'the depression' FDR set back thanksgiving a week as so to give more days to shop for xmas...to help the economy...<br /><br />half the country observed it.. half did't.. what a mess<br /><br />people said.." why not change sunday to wendsday.."<br /><br />this went on for 4 years... finally,, by act-o-congress ,,, it must be THE 4TH THURSDAY IN NOV...
