what did i get into?

i have rebuilt old cars but a boat is a new thing for me. my first step is trying to find out what year this boat is. i think its between mid 60's to early 70's? i dont trust the title as its been guessed at im told. ive attached a couple pics. can anybody tell me. i know its a fiberform. 16 foot and i believe it a runabout model? along with the year im trying to find out the max h.p. for it.

ohh....after getting off the paint that someone painted over the tag on the boat this is all it says:

fiber form plastics mfg. co. spokane wash

serial#1660286r does that mean 16 foot 1960? and what about h.p. rating for the boat?

I'm a boating noob, but honestly, that thing looks like it's in pretty good shape.
Although that's just based on the 2 pictures (and they're not that high resolution, so you can't see a lot of detail)

Just curious... what's wrong with it that needs to be rebuilt?

jprice... i need to sand and repaint, new carpet, new seats, get a new speedo guage and a couple other things. my motor will be major overhauled this winter to insure everything is back to orig, great running shape. (motor is a 1961 75hp evinrude)
