Well it was on my property when i bought it the house. Trailer I don't think is salvageable but really have not looked that close. But I did notice side roller brackets were rusted through. Its an empty hull missing steering assembly but still has throttle and gauges along with motor and lull of leaves. My guess is that its been over 10 - 15 years since the engine was started. So basically i believe I have a junk pile I have to figure out how to dispose of. Should I salvage anything before I junk it? It is beyond restoring IMHO. Opinions Please. Rick

wow that is a pile if i've ever seen one. i would see if you could sell the engine and outdrive. you may not get much. maybe 50-100 for each but it'll cover your disposal costs. also by me in new york they charge by the ton for disposal. if there's no engine and outdrive your weight just got substantially less.

Put an ad on kijiji or craigslist, free boat. there was a really cool resto on here that someone did, 50+ pages of a free boat resto....So try to give it to a good home. Some people don't have the funds to purchase a hull, but can slowly build something to be proud of over a few months/years.

Well since I never throw anything away I'd keep it, shoot.

If you scrap it be sure to place an add for windshield too (25 or 50 bucks).

Just think for a minute, IF you restore it you will probably be in for AT LEAST $1000, maybe closer to $1500... and when you were done you would have a boat worth about 1000-1500! BUT... it may only be worth 1000 but you can't by a boat with new wood and a rebuilt motor for $1000, they would want $2500 so they could get their work out of it. But if you do it yourself you would have a boat that would last for 20 years for $1000. Thats my 2 cents.

PS Don't write off the trailer, it's a tandem and they are worth more. Axle is probably good just needs new hubs (4 X $50 so $200). Plus rewire the trailer ($25-50) and new rollers and paint.
