What do I need to replace my impeller?

I have an 83 Evinrude 60hp ELCTB. I saw a old post a while back suggesting what is needed and now I can't find it.

I want to buy a service manual, but i want to get it, the impeller and any gaskets, etc. all at the same time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Buy a complete BRP kit and it will be complete and have instructions to boot.

Believe or not, I have changed an impeller before, but what does BRP mean?

Bombardier Recreational Products ... the successor to OMC (Outboard Marine Corp)

You'll likely get mixed reviews ... personally, I stick with OEM parts!

http://www.ishopmarine.com/ is one of many. Short's marine is another. Generally, if you have a dealer a reasonable distance away, you realyy won't save much BC of shipping. BTW, for water pump parts, I only use BRP, BC I've personally seen impeller failures with some unnamed third party kits. You also won't get a bunch of parts used for different motors in the BRP kits. Other stuff, third parties are OK.

The whole pump kit is 0390770.
