what do people press to start a car

wen u watch tv shows like fast n loud and someone if in the car tryin to start the engine and it is cranking what does the other guess press on the engine itself that makes the car actually start?

they are moving the throttle rod trying to mix off the bunch off gas they poured directly into the throat of the motor. Why the guy in the car doesn't just push the peddle is probably like don says "special affects" nothing like a fire ball out of the carb to show how many hp the engine has :facepalm:

I true indication of a mechanic that has learned from his mistakes is if he has his eye brows or not....

Fast n' Loud isn't a good example of automotive repair skills....

Although, every now and then they do take time to do a job right and have a pretty nice car when they're done. I still think the show is entertaining and good for a few chuckles.........

OMG! I just discovered (while flipping through the channels) that "Fast and Loud" is NOT one of the Vin Diesel movies. :facepalm:

You are right Don. Not Vin "Diesel" as they only work on gas powered engines. lol

I had a carburetor back fire on me, back in the day. It singed my hair, eyebrows and mustache. I could smell burnt hair for a week. I like Fast n Loud myself. I find it entertaining. Counting Cars is a favourite of mine too, as well as Chasing Cars.
