I have a 1989 Mercruiser 5.0 305 sterndrive with the Thunderbolt ignition for electronics I've been testing these electronics and replaced everything but the main module and I'm about tired of this boat not running it ran before and I left the key on and I believe it's smoked a module module five hundred bucks what do I need to do to switch it over to HEI AZ Indie distributor do I still need to use the module HEI distributor or what can I do

Yes, google Delco EST and then find the marine kit
Find the AC Delco kit, not the Sierra. Sierra may work and last just fine, but in my opinion, I try to stay away from Sierra

Thank you I understand now that's the ticket kinda priceeee but it cost 40 to go IHOP for breakfast year ago cost 25.00 for 2 ..2x4 cost 9.87 piece wow...I will oder the kit now be a use next month it will be double.

WELL IVE BEEN LOOKING THE CHEEPEST I CAN FIND 419.00 ..GOT TO BE CHEEPER ANY SUGGESTIONS?.MH BOAT IS STERNDRIVE ALPHA 5.0 MERC,305 TUNDERBOLT IV.

If your confident it’s the module you can usually buy Thunderbolt ignition modules
Used of eBay for around $200.

Boat's are not cheap.. The $25 skip white HEI your probably thinking of isn't going to cut it, and it just might blow up your boat
