I considering buying a 14' Princecraft fishing boat. I'd appreciate hearing any pros or cons.

I own the 16 foot Starfish and love it. They make a 14 footer that has the same cut. Well built, stable with a crowd aboard and the dryest boat that I have been in in it's size. Goes like stink with only a 25 hp pushing it. Cheaper than the Lund but just as good. Way ahead of Smokercraft or Sea Nymph. Nice looking boat too. The old ones were shaped differently but still great. The only one I would take over it is the Crestliner --- heavier alum. and welded.

I have a 14' Princecraft Yukon. Excellent boat. Easy to trailer, unload and load. Nice dry stable ride even with the family and a lot of stuff on board. Fit and finish are extremely good. I have a Yamaha 25 hp 2 stroke which is ideal for a boat this size and weight. Can pull the kids on a tube at 20 + mph. They hold their resale value well too. I highly recommend Princecraft.

I have a model Espadon 14 foot cartopper that is made by Princecraft in Quebec. It's a very light boat and is perfect for the fishing I do in my area where small to medium sized lakes are everywhere you look. My 7.5 h.p. engines easily push the boat close about 18 mph (30 km/h). This little boat (bought used last year) has been abused quite a bit over the years. It is light enough for me to be able to manhandle it alone over short distances to lakes that do not have a launch site. Quite easy for 2 people to portage over longer distances. A 30 lb thrust electric motor will move it very easily. Princecraft boats are the most popular boats in Quebec.
