There is a boat and trailer for sale in my neighborhood they will take $275 for it we're asking $350. The boat needs a new floor it has rot and a hole in the old one, it also needs fuel tank and seats, they say the engine is good it's a 62 starlight they have pink slips in hand so what do you think?

Looks like a nice little boat.....about the only thing better on the price would be free. If you like the boat, and are willing to spend the time / money to fix it up I would say its worth it. I'm betting you have to redo the transom and stringers while you are replacing the floor. I'm not sure on parts availability for that model, you might want to check on that. I have seen a few boats on here with that motor, and I think the ignition parts are hard to come by. You might search under the users for Micks110, he restored a boat almost exactly like that one, same motor if I remember correctly.
