what does 13 1/4 X 17 mean for a prop

I am trying to by a prop for my 1989 Force 125hp, and want to make sure it fits. Will all props with these demensions work? Is the 13 the spline count?

13 1/4 (diameter)is the circular diameter of the propeller in inches and 17(pitch) is the theoretical inches of travel per revolution of the prop.No all props of that demension will not work.You'll need to get one that is suitable for your engines propshaft and application.
