1997 Cobalt 252, engine 7.4GIPLKDCE. Throubleshooting fuel problems on my 7.4GI Volvo Penta.

What does an anti siphon valve look like? Where can I buy a brass anti siphon valve (p/n, vendor etc.)? Presume these are universal and not Volvo Penta specific?

I'm not with my boat so I cannot see what mine looks like. Presume it is a horizontal one, brass not aluminum.

The anti siphon is the fitting coming out of your gas tank that the gas line is contect too. Any boat dealer should carry the part.

They are located in the top of the fuel pickup tube in the fuel tank. It's not a Volvo part, or a Cobalt part. Just a fuel fitting made of aluminum or brass. Just prevents fuel from siphoning out of the tank if the line breaks for some reason.

ANY marine store has them, if you want to go online, right here at iboats.
