Hey, this is Yamaha data. No one said it has to make sense.
The chart referred to by the way is for 1991 and later models. Pre 1991, who knows what the letters meant.
If you think 130ETLD is confusing you should try and decode what an F150LA means. Certain letters, that formerly meant something, have been deleted. Not having those letters now means something.
Only thing for sure about your motor is that it has 130 HP, it is a long shaft, it is a 1990 model and it has electric start. And more than likely it has power trim and tilt. At least according to the Yamaha parts catalog it does.
But then the parts catalog is often wrong as is so much other Yamaha data.

E is electric start,
T is power T&T
L is long shaft
