I plan on installing some LED flexible strips in the gunnel pockets and under the helm over the winter. I dont use the boat much at night, so it may be wasted effort, but i think they will look good!

Inlay blue LED's work Great ..

Court lights are basically drunk lights or Bling lights :) choose your option ..

There are some really cool snap in LED's that hide wires ( you just have to get to the location and wire them up ).

Courtesy are just that...minimal lighting so you can see your footing, not step on fishing hooks or bottle caps, and not bright enough to destroy your night vision. A lot of engineering was spent over the years to come up with a happy medium of lighting vs. night vision. Most courtesy lighting is around the 5 watt range, but is available up to 25 watt. You'll notice that the brighter it is, the more hidden the bulb is within the housing. This allows the illumination to be broadcast over a given area as well as the operators inability to actually see the bulb (directional plastic housings, hidden lights in bulkheads, etc).

Pick whatever lights you like, just make sure you test them at night and they don't destroy your night vision. Soft white, royal blue, red are good. Bright white is a no-no.
