What F/F to buy!!!

I would like to know if anyone has any experience with the humminbird Matrix37 or the Eagle 480df Seafinder.<br />I could not find any reviews on them! I am leaning toward the eagle but like the 90deg of coverage the Humminbird gives you. Also the Hummingbird comes with a barometric pressure sensor. I plan to use it on the front of my boat on my trolling motor, and I do quite a bit of bass fishing.

I have always had best performance from Lowrance (including Eagle) sonars and worst with H'birds.<br /><br />Next question?

Lowrance owns Eagle. Lowrance units are considered a little more elite than Eagle.

Another long time Lowrance/Eagle fan here. However, my first locator was an old H'bird Super 60 flasher. Great old unit. As to your query about the dislikes of the Matrix unit, I just purchased an X-125 after much shopping and comparison. Seemed like across the board that the H'bird models just don't have the resolution the competition offers. One of the main reasons for my choice. And yup, so far I am impressed!<br /><br />/mike
