What fluids should I have?

My first i/o. 1990 4.3, Alpha 1.

I'm reading through the manuals and to be honest it's seems overwhelming at times, "when doing such and such, lube with ----- brand, and make sure such and such level is filled with ----"

Could someone shortcut this and help me put together a complete lube and fluid 'tickle trunk'?

I have to admit I don't change my own fluids in my vehicles so I don't have a shelf full of products. At this time I'm self employed and can justify paying someone to do that...but I cannot justify paying for someone to maintain a 'toy'.

I think you need to read through the entire section of the manual (it is a factory manual, right?) covering winter layup and spring commissioning before you decide that you will DIY. It is alot more involved than just a quick lube, oil, filter change.

some fluids/lubricants needed:
oil - 25W40
PS fluid
Trim fluid
spline/coupler grease
gimble bearing grease
Wheel bearing grease (for trailer)
perfect seal
fogging oil
fuel stabilizer
etc.

Thanks for the list, I hear your words of caution.

I ask lots of questions, but am confident I can DIY. The learning curve is steep at the moment and in a few months I may be rolling my eyes at my own questions I'm asking now.

Learning about this motor and drive is a great winter distraction!

Ayuh,... That's Good,.. But, Have you totally explored All the listings in the Adults Only section,..??
Both the Winterization thread,+ the Summerization threads, when combined pretty much cover All the regular maintanance Required for hour upon hour of care free boatin'..
