what fuel line do I use Fuel pump to Carb

I have a 1973 Penn yan with a 351w (ford) engine. The carborator is a edelbrock. I am rebuilding the boat and the past owner used copper fuel line. I know this isnt correct and I cant find the correct fuel line. The fuel line goes from the fuel pump to the Carborator. I boat in saltwater. Where can I find a line to fit? or do I need a custom???????

I normally get a 3/8" steel brake line that is longer than I need, then bend to fit, cut to length and put a new double flare on the cut end.

Like Don, I too use a steel line - either fuel or brake - but instead of cutting it, I simply bend it to fit. You can usually get one that is close enough in length to bend in a way that you don't need to cut it. You will need a tubing bender however. They are inexpensive and easy to use - but really are essential.

If you prefer, you can simply use A1 rated rubber marine fuel hose.

I like the pre-made flex hoses that Sierra sells, 18-8114 and 18-8115, only difference is length, and usually plug-n-play.

I bought the brake line, it was inexpensive and heavy duty.
