What fuel pump do I need?

Hello<br />I have been having many problems with my 1956 30hp Johnson Seahorse pressure tank, this is my second one and I now hate them. The boat will idle ok but when I floor it there is not enough gas. I know its the pressure tank because I have gone to the engine and opened the cap alittle to release pressure and it will rev up like it should. <br /><br />Anyways, could someone please tell me what pump to buy? I went here http://www.iboats.com/mall/index.cg...l pump&**********=239693004&*******=157310628 <br />but I am not sure which one?<br /><br />Is it possible also to send me a pic of where to mount the pump AND where to get vacuum from?<br /><br />OH one last question!!! If i go the Marine electric fuel pump route do I just hook up the fuel line then cap the the air pressure hole?<br />Thanks a bunch<br />Jeff

If you released the pressure, the engine should die. Pressure is what supplies fuel to the engine. Try adjusting the carb needle valves, or cleaning the carb, and install a rebuild kit.
