1967 60 HP V4 Evinrude

Unleaded or lead replacement?

I've assumed lead replacement given the age of the motor, but maybe there's some reason why not.

I'm more familiar with the issues of valve seat recession etc in 4 strokes and I'm not sure how unleaded can affect 2 strokes.

Unleaded, 87 oct. MOT (equals 92 oct. RON) and TWC-3 rated oil is what you need.

A 4-stroke would benefit from lead (valves), but not a 2-stroke.

Getting higher octane will have effect on nothing but your wallet.

TWC-3 oil is desinged for marine use & running conditions and will provide optimal lube under such conditions.
