Last summer coming up Cow Bayou to Bridge City Tx slow down to pass a drifting PWC. Noticed the young girl was waving her arms franticly and crying.
Eased over, she was out of gas, she she had been drifting for a hour or more and all the other boats just ran by, she was afraid she would be swamped.
Took her on board, put son on her PWC towed to her home which was about three miles up and on the bayou.
All ended happily.
This past weekend, close to the same place, engine shut off, look at son get a "Duh!" and guilty look. So while chewing on him for not filling the tank as told here come a PWC. And who's on it? The young girl from last summer. My son gets behind her and they go for gas. Old Dad is left drifting-- fishing.
They come back all giggles and grins common to teen agers. Now son's bugging me about when are we going to fish Cow Bayou again.
