he wrote books about stuff in his time that was unimaginable even till much later. Space travel, submarines and a host of other interesting science fiction books. Much of it, you have to admit, he didn't have the technology to explain what he saw when he dreampt up those stories. Like the powersource in the Natilous (sp?) in 20,000 leagues under the sea. he knew what he saw jusn not what it was. Suppose the man was a bit psychic. Or very psychic, he saw the future in his dreams.

Well, this next bit brings me to "Journey to the center of the Earth". I untill yesterday never heard of this, but remember 500 years ago the earth was flat and people were burned alive for claiming otherwise. The sun revolved around the earth. Yesterday it was spherical with a molten lava core. if this next couple vids has any merit, today it could be hollow with an advanced civilization living in side.

Apart from it being based in fantasy, and requiring a great deal of mistrust in the govt. to even begin to believe it... Actually, that pretty much kills it for me.

So that is where the high elven sailed to when they left middle earth.
Please do go there,as a radio host you might try to find Frodo and Bilbo. An interview with those two should cause your fame to be almost eternal.

I find these types of ideas fascinating. The guy seems to really believe what he's saying. But I personally find this idea unlikely. I'm going to need some facts to support these theories. I'm calling BS on this one. :D

If you don't trust them... then why? is it the president, or the whole government? What would you do to make it better? What would you want in the next president?
I'm only asking because I'm thinking of getting my message out there.
And PS... i don't trust them either.

So the government hasn't blocked satelite images of the arctic because of classified boomer sub bases and spy plane air fields... it's really because they want to hide hobbits as this guy suggested??

Not trusting them to leave your money in your wallet is one thing... wearing a tinfoil hat to block ultrasonic mind control is quite another.

what would I want in the next pesident? some kauhunas (sp?) to do the right thing, stop free trade agreements since it sends all the jobs to china, establish a "if you dont like it here then feel free to leave" policy, I'm tired of having hardworking people bend over for immigrants. I am an immigrant too, but I dont like what some of them are doing here.

One country, one flag, one language. I'm tired of getting lost in towns and needing a translator to ask for direction. If eberyone is supposed to be equal, then the courts need to be reworked too. What's with married for a year and she takes half of everything? Understandable after 20 years but com on. Also, I'd like to abolish all lawyers and politicians but this wont happen any time near. legalize drugs and prostitution, instead of spending taxmoney to fight it, tax it so that cops are free and better funded to fight burglars and murderers.

establish a common sense law system sop that people cant sue when they're the ones that did wrong. the burglar that fell through the skylight and then sued the homeowener and won - should have lost and thrown into jail and made to pay restitution. the dumb cow that spilled hot coffee on herself at a drive through and sued mcdonalds - if youre too fat to reach out and hold coffee then dont drink coffee. because of people like these we have stupid signs on everything. caution, coffee is hot! Dont put your mouth near the jetski exhaust! Caution, kives are sharp!

throw every immigrant or refugee out that doesnt show an inclination to want to be a better citizen. (remember, I'm an immigrant) cant learn the language in 10 years? go home. Cant hold a job but constantly in jail? go home. want to run a whatever flag theycome from in front of their house? NO, this is US or Canada, fly the flag your country has. dont like it then go home. Many wonderful people gave their lives to have this country free so we can live free and think free, least we could do is honour them by flying OUR flag, not mexican or whatever.

there is 2 great quotes in history, "united we stand!" and "divide and conquer"

North America is the best place in the world to be I dont want this country divided against iself. I welcome anyone who has something positive to contribute but if you dont, then go somewhere else

rant over

Re: what if Jules Verne was right?

I'm all for a hollow earth.

I just saw a show on Yellowstone Park, which sits directly on top of one of the largest ACTIVE volcanos on earth.

They said WHEN it blows (not if), the smoke willl cover most of the earth (in additional to other catastrophic problems), blocking out most sunlight for several years.

Hey if the earth is hollow, it may just IMPLODE. Problem solved :)

unless it blows out the other end, then it fills up inner earth and were saved!

seriously, governments and the church mandated for as long as possible the earth was flat. so it was round 500 years ago, doesn't mean we explored it all. If there is someone intelligent on the other side, the least they could do is say hello once in a while. and save us from having to bend over every time we need gas

Hours of entertainment. Everything from UFOs (from space, inside the earth, or from the Nazis - depending on who's telling the story), to government conspiricy, to illumnati/masonic/templar new world order plots.

I can't wait for the movie: "National Treasure: Raiders of the Lost Secret Center of the Earth"
