What is a good price for a new Yamaha 15?

Dealer sell them for $2100<br />After some negotiation managed to reduce price to $1900.<br />Will have to pay taxes (+$125)<br />Is that a good price?<br />What do you think?<br /><br />Motor: <br />New in box outboard Yamaha 15<br />2-Stroke<br />Short shaft (15 in.)<br />Location - Dallas, TX.<br /><br />Thank you in advance!<br />

sounds good.. go for it... although iboats.com has a 2003 merc with waranty for 500 less

Yep - they have it. It's not new though (I guess shipping will be ~200).<br />Is it true that Yamaha more reliable then Mercury?<br />Or it's just an urban legend.
