What is a proper compression ratio for a 1957 3 hp Sea King outboard?

Hello everyone...I was able to get a 1957 3 hp Sea King running yesterday after at least a decade of sitting. It starts easy, idles nice and runs smooth all the way up to full throttle. I did a compression test on it and got 75 lbs which compared to newer motors is quite low. Does anybody know what compression these motors had new? Thanks in advance.

That is actually good compression.-----The fact that it idles nice indicates that there is nothing wrong.-----A well built motor that should last for decades more !
