What is best/most knowledgable small boat & fishing(fresh) magazine?

My 11 yr old is selling magazine subscriptions for his school, and I was wondering what is the best small(I have a 17' aluminum 40hp merc O/B 2 stroke) boat and fresh water(I'll order 2 mags)fishing magazine around? Thanks, Heinz

I personnally think that Trailer Boats magazine is the best all around for small boat owners. By coincidence, I discovered it when my kid was selling subscriptions at school. Can't help on the other, since I fish salt water.

i come here for boating info, so can't offer a boating mag. i got the most usable fishin info from In-Fisherman. i also bought some of their videos.

For fishing I like Bassin as it gives info on whatthe pros use but also how to fish them.

Hey a good deal. They are offering a free trailer boats 1 yr subscription here on the board, which should free you up to buy more fishing magazines. I like In-fisherman myself since it covers different species. I wish it came out more often and had rod, reel reviews. They do make a lot of suggestions for lures though.

too funny Heinz,<br />same magazine deal last year here with my 14 yr. old son.<br />I got; "In Fisherman", which is GREAT, and "Sports<br />Illustrated"... except my son stold the swimsuit<br />issue
