What is that above the gas tank ? At first I thought it was the battery but then I noticed the fuel line running to it and no battery cables. Then I thought fuel/water separator but I have never seen one that big or look like that. Looks like window washer fluid from the side but I doubt that lol.

Yep, the tank for oil injection with a priming bulb just like for the fuel tank. Take the cap off and stick your finger in and taste it. Windshield washer juice tastes terrible, two stroke oil tastes like chicken. LOL

^ That was funny.
Anyone know anything about that gas tank. Its the one I have. Best I can figure using math formulas is that its about 25 gallons. I have only drained it once and that was out in the channel and don't plan on doing that again so haven't been able to get a volume on it.

Looks like its a oil tank for the EARLY oil injection systems for 2 strokes. My Merc 40 ELTPO, had a oil injection tank under the cowling, if yours has a oil tank like mine had. this thing is not required.....Just my 2cts

Length in inches X Width in inches X Depth in inches / 231 = Gallons is a close approximation. It looks like the top under the oil tank is beveled, so it's only a so/so guess. Also any math formula ignores necessary head space for expansion.

Or read the tag if it's legible. Often the numbers are stamped on an aluminum plate before attaching to the tank.
