Being new to the boat owning world and especially SX-M drive specifics i'm not sure what normal operation is supposed to look like. Where exactly is water SUPPOSED to exit from, if at all? And if it DOES exit, say the 4 small holes that another poster here mentioned earlier, what is that indicative of exactly? I recently purchased a 1999 Larson (volvo 4.3 GS pbyc w/ SX outdrive) and have been working on it daily for the past 3 weeks. It has been on the muffs twice since I've had it but not in the lake other than a short test run. I dont know what normal/abnormal operation looks like for the SX-M but would be very appreciative of knowing. Thanks in advance.
