What is the best cleaning product for white decks?

Is there an "industry standard" for washing down white fiberglass? There are many products avalable Im sure, but does anyone have a particular preference for an honest to goodness good cleaning product? I used Murphys Oil Soap, but it wasnt really effective. Id like to get my white deck as white as possible but Im not sure what to use to get it that way. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.Pat

I like Simple Green, it works well. For water stains though, I buy that water stain remover, just be careful, it has an acid in it that can ruin other materials. Simple Green works well on vinyl too, just be sure to put some 303 or other protectant back on it, because SG will take it off.

I assume your deck has got some kind of non-skid pattern. Best thing I ever found for cleaning white deck on my Pro-Line CC was Soft Scrub w/ Bleach and a good brush. Don't use it on smooth fiberglass areas because it will remove the wax. On the deck nothing worked better for removing general grime, blood, chum, etc. Since it's not a special boat product the price is OK too. Pick it up on the cleaning supply isle at the local grocery.

I second the soft scrub on decks. I have also have used and like Castrol Super Clean. It seems real good at taking off grease and grime left from chum without a lot of scrubbing. It can leave white fiberglass slightly yellowed though, always seems to change back to white in a day or two.
