What is the difference between this and Peanut Butter?

Besides price, what is the difference between this short strand fiberglass filler and peanut butter? I am considering using it for fillets and filling oversized predrilled holes in transom and motor mounts before drilling final smaller holes.

I do not have cabisol or other fillers and the fiberglass store is 45 minutes away while Home Depot is only 2 miles from my house.

Pretty much the same. You are at the mercy of their idea of consistency and texture and quality. What they consider waterproof is somewhat suspect IMHO. Can you use it. I guess so. Would I use it... Prolly not. It's going to cost you More if you use a LOT, for quick little Patch jobs yeah maybe. For Transom filling of oversized holes... NO WAY. I'd ONLY use PB made from Epoxy. PB made from resin is still susceptible to cracking, Expoxy not so much.

I know you said "ONLY epoxy PB", but are there any other options for waterproofing the holes drilled in the transom? I am trying to get away from the long drive.
