It has a good explenation of the differences and from what I can tell, what I may need for my floor repair is the cloth and then mat for places that need structural help. Or a combination of cloth and mat for the floor would help too. Thanks again for the link.
one is woven the other just seems to be pressed. I know that you need to have really clean hands (nothing sticky on them) when you use mat because the fine threads of the glass mat come apart easily. the woven cloth is abit more forgiving and can be cut with a good pair of shears.
