what is the model?

Hello everyone. found this forum via google and i must say this is an awesome site!! yes i am a noob to the boating world. i had just purchased an 83 malibu w/ an OMC i/o sterndrive. i bought it w/ trailer for $1500. i couldnt let that go so i bought it! anywho i just want to know the model of this boat. can anyone help me? here are some pics. You might want to post the HIN number from the title or from the starboard upper transom.

I checked the HIN database from the USCG.

It states it is manufactured by MC SPorts and from the S/N, it is 1983 Not sure what the trailing G is for...

Anyway..

I "Think" that is what you have there. Don't bet the farm on it, its just what I pulled from teh USCSG.GOV HIN database.
