Use the 50:1 with caution, FireMedic. <br /><br />My factory manual calls for 24:1 for the '68s, but oil is a lot better today than then. <br /><br />If you get any signs of overheating go to the 24:1.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
Yep. That's what it says. <br /><br />Many folks, however, claim that they run their pre-70s engines on 50:1 with no problems.<br /><br />Of course, if they blew 'em up they might not be willing to talk about it.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
