I have a 1984 Merc 9.8 and the venturi ( which is plastic ) just fell apart in pieces. I see it on all the boat sites as part number 19 in the diagram but says not sold separately, but doesn't say what you need to get one. I surely do not want to attempt to glue it back together for fear it will fall apart and enter the engine. anyone know what number/kit I would need to get it replaced?

They used to sell it separately.----They used to sell many little parts separately.------They can not make money selling 1 little part at a time.-----Large corporations now sell kits because it is more efficient.-----Spare parts / warehousing is a huge cost operation. ---Bottom of the list is a repair kit with all the parts you need.----I say that is the best way to go.-------Your location ?.

Even my local independent guy that used to have all the individual parts can only get a full kit
