What is the Proper Technique to Re-Torque Wheel Lug Nuts

Loosen all slightly and bring back up to final torque? Remove all and re-install (doesn't seem to make much sense)? Loosen one at a time slightly and bring up to final torque? Other.

I know I'm supposed to do it after about 10 miles and again after about 100 miles, but not sure exactly how to go about it.

I have 4 lug hubs w/1/2 X 20 studs if that is a factor.

tighten in star pattern - first round snug, second round at 75 lb-ft. then in 10 miles or so, go back over and verify 75 lb-ft.

same process for any wheel. torque values vary by stud diameter

Okay, so the answer on the re-torque is to simply set my torque wrench to the desired final torque and apply torque until it clicks, working in a star or "X" (I have 4 lug hubs) pattern. No loosening prior to application of the torque wrench?

You are verifying the lug nuts are tight. Loosen them and you will need to repeat the process again as you would essentially be starting over. Set the wrench and verify they are at LEAST at the torque spec. Done.
