what is the right tilted Element Tranducer for 215 Aquasports boat

Hello?
I have Aquasports 215 Explorer.
I like to install Tilted Element Tranducer.
but they have 2 Type, B60-20 and B60-12,
anyone Knows what's the right Tranducer for this boat?

Well, in 2005 that hull had a transom deadrise angle of 18 degrees. If yours is the same, you'll want the B60-20.

If you want to be sure, either call Airmar and ask them or measure the transom angle yourself. If it's between 8 and 16, use B60-12. Between 16 and 24, use B60-20.

Don't go by the factory specfication. The deadrise on a lot of hulls is not constant from the keel to the chine. Measure the deadrise where you want to mount the transducer.

The advertised deadrise for my hull is 20 degrees so I purchased a B164-20. When I measured the hull where I was installing the transducer, ~ 4" off center line, the deadrise was only 16 degrees. I got lucky and the "true" angle fell right in between the two units. You might not be so lucky
