I just got a 13 ft fiberglass sailboat. I've forgotten all my sea vocabulary so must discribe it in the most layman like fashion. Its been painted so all id placards are either gone or painted over beyone identification. It has no cutty cabin, and one interesting feature is that the mast is stepped in a 1/2 metal housing with nothing more than a nipple at the end of the mast to hold secure it. this located in lowered, recessed section of the midsection. It has to circular holes about 12'' in diameter in the fore and aft bulkheads which are covered with huge red round plastic "bung" with looks like the top of a water bucket like the ones seen strapped atop to utility trucks to serve liquids to the workers. it has aluminum mast and boom, and no sails.
I can email pics but just got on this forum and dont know how to post them here.
Thanks for your help
