it is mounted at the top of the intake on my 1983 115 hp johnson. there are three tubes connected to it from the carbs. while i was attempting to pull the tube off i broke a plug to hold one of the tubes. just wondering if i could get some help
that is a primer assembley,it basically shoots raw fuel into the eng ,it replaces the choke system.the piece you broke is replaceable. would need to either get a used one,0511807 is the part numberl,or get a whole used unit on ebay,or new for $16.00from an evinrude/johnson dealer, its held by 4 screws ,here is a lik to the BRP website ,hopefully it comes up OK.
I have this assembly on my motor as well with the shrader valve. This unit is what shoots fuel in when you push in the key, right? What is the shrader valve for? What is the red tab/lever for? Boy I need to buy a manual.
