What is this? Does anybody want it?

Hi all boat enthusiasts. The last owner of my house left some pieces to a boat trailer. He said he'd come and get them, but after 7 years, I doubt he really cares. I want to get rid of them, but I don't even know for sure what they are. I'm guessing they attach on the sides of a boat trailer, to pad the side of the boat.

I'm attaching pictures of them. Any help in identifying them would be greatly appreciated. What would they be called? Do they have ANY value at all? I am willing to give them away, but if they are just better sent to the junk yard, I'll do that as well. At very least, if I can describe them in a freecycle or craigslist ad, somebody out there might want them.

I think they are called bump pads, or trailer bump pads. You might be able to get a couple of bucks out of them

They look like trailer bunks. . But, I've been wrong before.

looks like old bunk boards for a boat aprox. 15-17 feet.

i doubt its worth anything more then the wood to burn and the metal to scrap. most likely selling them the buyer will replace the boards and that square stock would be of no use unless your building your own boat trailer, which is stupid unless your building because no trailer exists to hull your boat. my guess is its $20-25 in scrap metal if you cut it down to under 24 inches so its foundry steel and take the boards off other wise its probably $10 in crap steel your choice.
