I bought a very nice looking Stainless Steel prop. It was used but in very good condition. Brought it home to put on my boat. It fits but, it is like it is a quarter inch too large in diameter. It is a Quick Silver Mirage. The model number is: 48 13703 A41 21p. My boat has a 2008 Mercruiser Alpha One drive. Is there anyway to find out what this prop was made to fit? Thanks for any help you can provide. Alvin

little more info:

1/4 inch too big at the hub or overall diameter?

If overall, do the blades hit the AV plate or just the torque tab?

It's overall and it just hits the trim tab.

Ayuh,... Then it Fits as it Should...
You just need a Different torque tab..Or the Flat 1 if you have P/Steering...

If you DONOT have p/s, then replace the tab with an offset one.

If you DO have p/s, then you can either use the offset tab, or just take a grinder to it (the tab, not the prop). Then go enjoy a day on the water.
