Noticed some fuel dripping from the top where the cap is when the chock is engaged. When I take the cap off there is a valve inside like a tire valve.

Valve is probably no good if fuel leaks out?

My thinking is if fuel leaks out then air will leak in.

Primer Solenoid
the primer replaced the old choke butterflies in the carborators, pushing in the key activates it, like the old choke plates. if for some reason you battery dies, and you have to rope start it, and need to choke the motor move the red lever, 180 degrees, once started move back to regular position.

there is a rebuild kit for the leaking area. out lined in yellow.

Thanks, I?ll have to add that kit to my order also.

My vote is for maybe.

if its randomly putting gas into the cylinders, it'll run crappy, or if its sucking in air itlll run crappy too
