What is this? Windshield hardware.

I recently purchased a 2002 Maxum 2300 SC. The walk through windshield rests on another part of the static windshield when it is opened. I am assuming this is because a piece hardware is missing. See picture.
What is this and where can I find a replacement part?

I have the same problem. They must make a window catch out of plastic for that purpose to secure the walk thru window when opened. If you get a lead on one of these let me know. I have been fixing too many other things to pay attention to this one!
