I just spotted this boat for sale and am thinking it might solve my dilema. I have a boat with a rotten floor and a decent 115 hp 1992 Johnson VRO. I'm 82 and not that interested in doing the whole floor replacement thing, but wouldn't mind a more simple mechanical swap- if that is possible with what is pictured. I believe these are called sea drives are they not, but would they not have the same/similar power head as mine.

They were called OMC Sea Drive. The Bracket provided Trim and Tilt.
The Unit in the Pic is a Crossflow, but as Racer says there were a couple of models. The Crossflow, as an Outboard in the 1980s, was offered as 85, 88, 90, 100, 110, 112, 115, and 140hp versions, so while it may a lot like your motor, there may be differences inside
