What is this

Giz,it looks like a thru hull drain to me but I can't be sure by your pic.Have you tried opening it to see what it is?

Does this boat have a sub floor? Can you see this from under the boat? What is over all deminsion? What is deminsion of plug?

Ive opened it , doesnt seem to go through the hull

Giz can you tell how deep and wide it is?Does it smell like fuel?Might be a waste holding tank. Just make sure you don't put anything in it until your sure what its for.

Well I can put in my finger and not touch the bottom , it doesnt seem to smell like gas .. but it had a bit of h20 in it so if it was for gas it would have been watered down .. I htought it could be gas or some sort of access to the hull but why would you want to get in there ???? <br /><br />? confused

maybe it's some kind of flange or fitting for a chair pedestal or ski tow bar or something?

Looks like access to the double-skin part of the hull. <br /><br />Could be a manufacturing thing - maybe letting air escape while foam was pumped in? Dunno - shooting in the dark really. <br /><br />You could keep a livewell down there and put tiddlers in it!

Well poked a hose down the hole , its only a few inches deep and kinda sounds metal like ???????<br />Fuel just doesnt seem right

Giz , have you tried getting hold of the manufacturer to see what they say?
