I have a 1962 MFG Niagra Delux. There are a few scrapes and scratches in the hull. Some are deep enough to see fiberglass strands. Most are about 1/64 or 1/32 inch deep. The hull is white and was never painted. I just want to fill the scratches with a white epoxy, but can't seem to find colored epoxy. Doesn't matter if the color is an exact match.

Should I be using something else or is epoxy the right product to use?

I also have been using a power buffer with rubbing compound then #7 polishing compound to remove the white haze on the gelcoat deck and top of gunwhale. So far so good! Can I also buff the hull the same way?

This boat will probably only see water 12 - 20 days a year, spending most of its time on the trailer.

Thanks for your input!

Mark
