More Wasted Taxpayer Dollars<br /><br />Has anyone here dealt with the Census Bureau?<br />A woman from the US Census Bureau came to my house unexpectedly Saturday afternoon telling we were Chosen for the American Family Census. Over the past few months I received mailings from the census bureau that I considered Junk and tossed them. I told the woman I was not interested, and she told me it is MANDATORY. I then told her to mark me down as uncooperative. She advised me someone else would be coming to my home. Yesterday I got a letter informing me if I do not participate I can be fined $250,000.00 or jailed for 5 years. Then it went on to say someone will come to my home soon. Are you joking? 5 years in Jail?? This country cant convict a rapist or murderer, and theyre going to Jail me? Maximum Security too I bet. What is our government thinking? They have access to everything they need to know. Ages, income, debt, SS numbers, automobiles owned, etc. What is left? Nationality? Political views?<br />My position is 1) if this takes more than 30 minutes they will need an appointment. 2) It will be done outside of my home. 3) I will not provide any information beyond my age, number of people in the home, level of education, and profession. Anything above that Big Brother already has access to. This will be interesting. Hope I can log on to i-boats from jail.
