I have acquired an older 15' aluminum boat with a Johnson 40 HP. The motor is a 1962. I place the boat in about the same year. There is no hull plate on the boat. It does have the hull number stamped in the right side of the hull. The boat is dark blue, I believe that it is the original color. It has a brushed aluminum plate on the last 16" of the deck at the stern. I am trying to find out the manufacture. Is there someplace to get this kind of information?<br /><br />Thanks for any help!
