What kind op prop for my boat ??

Hello I just bought a 1999 johnson 90Hp outboard engine to put on my 17ft Rib there is a 13 3/4 x 15" aluminum prop on it now but I would like to install a stainless steel prop but what kind would be the best for me ? (Viper, renegade,SSt,raker )<br />The boat weighs about 450lbs without engine and it would be used to waterski from time to time on the ocean and otherwise just cruising.<br /><br />Thanks

First you need to mount the motor with the cavitation plate even with the bottom of the hull or slightly above (say up to 1"). Take it for a run and let us know what rpms you are getting at wide open throttle. The recommendations for a prop will be based on that.
