I have a 1974 evinrude sizzler 50 hp and I have no manual
it runs great crossing the starter out but I have no control box and I see there are so many and im not sure what model or one I need
I was wanting one with the ignition and choke separate so I could put them in my dash but I don't know if one like that would work for the motor or not
what model number or one do I kneed
thanks

You can hook up the ignition and choke by moving the wires anywhere you like, so thats no problem.
Its the cables you need to get right, especially shifting the right way, im unsure which one would work on that motor. You could measure how far your throttle and shift lever in the engine bay need to move and in what direction to get Forward and Reverse from neutral and ask the seller what their measurements are.
Someone will probably come along with a more accurate answer

Will the old Simplex 2 handle controls work with the 50-55-60hp models if the right throttle and shift cable can be found? I ask because I have used both the 2 lever and single lever with the later 70's model 35hp.
