What length leg should I buy?

Hello!<br />I'm looking at buying a used 9.9 johnson, (model 10r, I believe.) My question is how much leg should extend past the bottom of the keel.<br />As you can tell, I'm kinda new to this stuff, so any help would be appreciated!<br />Thanks!

The cavitation plate (plate just above propeller) should be even, or close to it, to the bottom of the boat.
