I need to replace a lower unit on a Force 150 motor Model #1508E9A and Serial # 015741 and I am wondering what years and what horse power lower units could I use.
From what I recall about the 150's...there are 3 different gearcases. All 3 will bolt up...but may require some additional work or parts.<br /><br />TMD
I am looking to find out if I can use one off of a 91 150 and to put it to a 89 150. They look very much alike other then the one from the 91 is still all in one piece.
