recently bought this boat. long story short, its not what it is suposed to be. Not a major issue, as i bought the boat, not the name. but now, im wondering what brand it is.
the boat was designed as a simple open boat. it has no serial number, no worn out info tag, no hull number, no weight or capacity tag, and no signs that these things were removed from the boat. It is all fiberglass. full flotation foamed under the floor. there are no makers marks, names, or anything to lend a hint as to who made the boat.
Title says Warrior 16 foot. Warrior boats say they never made an open or center console. Im guessing this was back in the day, and the make is one thing, the boat model was warrior @ a sea skiff warrior....
Anyone with an educated guess or factual answer is welcome to reply.....
i posted the picture link below, as the site wasnt working to upload a picture directly

Re: what make boat..

The boat looks new enough to have a HIN on the transom. The initial letters are the manufacturer code.

Re: what make boat..

Trailer is too short. lol ya think.... thats an order of business that ill get taken care of real quick.
I guess the mis mix was nessessity for someone, they added new longer bunks thinking that solved the issue.
Ill be hunting down something a bit longer then a jet ski trailer before the towing season really gets going.
I did some searching, "Warrior" boats. in history, in the USA, there have been a total of 12 manufactures, that used that name as the brand. Most were home based or small start ups that failed quickly. @ Sea warrior, warrior inc, warrior boats, warrior fiberglass mfg. etc

so mystery solved. I was worried that the title was from another boat, but apparently, all is well, just an old boat, from a defunct manufacturer, that didnt mark the hull with a stamped number, and instead used a decal that in time, peeled off and vanished into the deep blue depths of time.

Reading how you already checked every inch of that boat for the HIN, I'm equally sure you looked at the upper right hand section of the transom. I have a 1976 Tom Boy tri-hull boat and that is where my HIN was located. But it wasn't very obvious being such a small metal tag... Also you already acknowledged that the trailer was too short for the boat. But before you purchase another trailer (new or used) consider lengthening the tongue on that one. It looks okay other wise. And one other issue I see (from that one picture provided) is the OB is sitting to low on that transom. It should be raised so that the cavitation plate is either even or slightly above the bottom of the boat...

Other then that, it has some nice lines and I think it will be an awesome setup...
