mine newish, 4 mos - nurse, most thoughtful and generous person Ive known, funny, never complains(yet heehee) speaks her mind, beautiful ,Filipina, spoils the crap outta me, I do the same effortlessly, she doesnt like my smoking, nvr do round her, will hide in bathrm or outside when she over at my house, great mom, NO pressure(course they all wanna get married), loves when I cook like breakfast for dinner???!!! and just soooo accepts me for ME w/ all imperfections and doesnt "need" me - she makes great $, . - this is good stuff guys
Oh and she puts up with my job and she works nights - a good thing - gives me my me time, son and buddy time and is great to miss each other - could see her 2-3 times a week or wait 1 - 1.5 weeks, but her house 8 mins from my work - lunches rock, and my house 12 mins from her work
Oh and Spike loves her!!!

I've stayed with my wife for going on 20 years (this year) because of the fact that a court of law cannot compel someone to testify against their spouse!:laugh:

Me, I have the most awesome wife in the world. Smart, funny, easy going, beautiful, usually doesn't complain about my hunting, enjoys the boat, works along side me because she loves helping people, and most importantly, is my best friend. Yep, she is a keeper.

4 months? Heck, you guys hardly know each other yet. Still in the honeymoon phase of dating.... My wife and I dated for 3.5 years to the day we got married. Will be 20 years this fall, somehow she's learned how to put up with me.......

And 'speck, there's 2 sides for every story.......:ballchain::fear::bounce:

It'll be 20 years for us too this year ... there's too much good to tell about the Admiral, and delightfully I keep finding new stuff all the time.

Left it till later in life as I did not think it was fair to get married while I was in the military, always on the road.

Nothings perfect, but better than being alone as you get old, 14 years in september.

Tie the knot????? Eeeeeeeek!!!! Been down that road twice, cost me a bundle, all great now - but got some great kids out of it!
I've known her since last June - just been dating serious like 3-4 mos - but yeah she a keeper, fun, huge heart and gives me my "space" - hmmm wonder what she cookin tonight?? :>)

This July will be 2 years for my wife and I. What keeps us together is the fact that she is the most kind, caring, thoughtful, selfless, smart and hard working woman I have ever met. All of that might have something to with the fact that she was raised on a dairy farm for much of her life before her father decided to become a Luthern pastor. Yup!..I married the farmer's/preacher's daughter. She is my best friend and I should also mention that she is tough for putting up with my ornery butt!! It also helps that I had a boat when we started dating. Good thread EZBTR!!

been married 1yr but dated her on/off 10 yrs we worked out most kinks before ...ive learned to giva a little instead of take all the x wich has made me a better person period so all in all we rarley argue or fight only about money hahaha !!! I can say she is a great cook and also has a great family her parents are good to me also ...i can say were veryr happy happy people a day on the lake helps !!!

i will be married to my wife for 3 years come august 7th we argue a lot and we get frustrated with each other but she knows i have a dangerous job. because it is dangerous i refuse to go to bed or leave the house without at least telling her i love you. i couldnt stand the thought of our last moment being one of hate.
we both have a strong willed personality and it wouldnt be any fun if either one of us was a pushover.
when we were first together we started a game and that was whoever said, "im the boss" first was the boss for the day it was fun
the biggest thing is we laugh more then we argue.
i had her laughing so hard one day she puked.
some of the things ive said to her that made her laugh were.
(her) if you dont stop im gonna cut you off
(me) cut me off you cant you dont know where im getting it from
put baby powder in her hairdryer
came home and bathroom was covered in a fine dust of baby powder.
i laughed more then she did she finds it funny now
(her) you drink too much
(me) i dont drink to much you dont drink enough.
she puts in her little jabs as well but mine are funnier
the most important thing in our relationship is that no matter what mood im in if she needs me, she knows she can count on me.
wether it be a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent her frustrations to, or someone to back her up.
she knows that no matter what i will defend her to the bitter end.
